Thank You to the 2012 Scholarship Companies:
Thank you for your interest in Truth and Justice: The 2013 Summit on Military Sexual Violence.
SWAN is committed to providing a safe, open environment to discuss issues related to sexual violence in the military. To facilitate these ideals, we will have social workers available at all times and we strongly encourage all participants to utilize these and other self-care methods. By registering for this Summit, you agree to abide by the following guidelines:
- All staff, attendees, panelists, moderators and volunteers are to be treated with respect and dignity.
- Attendees are expected to abide by panel formats as laid out by each moderator.
- Anyone who becomes disruptive will be asked to leave for the safety of other participants.
- Hate speech (racist, sexist, homophobic, etc), offensive language (i.e. uses of derogatory terms to single out specific populations), or victim blaming (suggesting that survivors of sexual trauma or domestic violence are responsible for their harassment and/or assault) will not be tolerated.
